SEAMAP is a German marine research initiative and online platform that maps seamounts using multibeam sonar data collected during research vessel transits, contributing to global seafloor mapping efforts.

SEAMAP is a joint effort among GEOMAR Helmholtz-Zentrum für Ozeanforschung Kiel, MARUM – Center for Marine Environmental Sciences, University of Bremen,  University of Bremen, Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research, Senckenberg Nature Research, Deutsche Allianz Meeresforschung (DAM) / German Marine Research Alliance, and contributes to the The Nippon Foundation, GEBCO - General Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans, Seabed 2030 Project.
